Please read the terms and conditions of service carefully before using this website and booking a culinary tour with Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours. When booking with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of service.

Prices and Payment

All prices posted on this website are in US$ dollars. Payments are handled securely by PayPal, one of the largest payment providers in the world. Any booking will be confirmed by email only when payment has been made in full and has been received and approved. Please note that customers are not required to have a PayPal account to make a payment at www.ambrosiatours.com. PayPal accepts a variety of payment methods including major credit cards. Please, check the PayPal website for more information about processing payment and privacy and security.

Prices and conditions of culinary tours may change without prior notification to the customers. It is advised that customers check the website regularly for updated prices.

Refunds, Cancellations and Transfers

Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours is committed to providing high quality service and making the best of your culinary experience. We try to accommodate our customers’ needs by having a flexible cancellation and refund policy. Ambrosia specializes in small and customized culinary tours, so please understand that it may not be possible for us to fill out your spot should you need to cancel your booking. Please, note that the following policies apply:

  • Transfer of bookings to other participant(s) is accepted. Please, notify Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours in advance and in writing.
  • Any transfer, cancellation or refund must be requested in writing. Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours will respond to your request in writing within a reasonable timeframe. Please, do not assume your request has been accepted without written proof.
  • Within 2 weeks’ notice prior to the tour date, refunds may be processed in full* (minus an administrative fee of 10% of the total cost.)
  • With less than 2 weeks and up to 5 days’ notice prior to the tour date, refunds of 50% of the total cost* may be processed.
  • No-shows or cancellations taking place with less than 5 days’ written notice will not be refunded.

* Approved refunds will be processed immediately. Please, note that if customer used credit or debit card for payment, the money will be refunded to their card. This may take up to 30 days to appear on the credit card statement.

Additional cancellation fees may apply depending on the culinary tour. Please, check the information on each tour for specific conditions.

Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours reserves the right to cancel or substitute any culinary tour for another one of similar value and condition. In case a cancellation occurs, customers whose bookings are affected will be transferred to a suitable alternative. If no other date is suitable, Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours will reimburse customers the entire amount paid to book the tour without any administration or cancellation charges. Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours shall not be held responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the customer may have incurred as a result of a cancellation.

Rescheduling

Bookings can be rescheduled at no charge if appropriate advanced notice is given in writing. The following policies apply:

  • Within 2 weeks’ notice, no penalties apply to reschedule bookings.
  • With less than 2 weeks and up to 5 days’ notice, a 50% of the total cost penalty will be applied.
  • Booking reschedules will not be accepted with less than 5 days written notice.

Dietary Restrictions and Food Allergies

Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours offers a wide variety of culinary tours where food preparation and tasting takes place. We encourage people to carefully review the menus posted on each culinary tour as some ingredients and dishes may incite allergies to some customers. When hesitant, please contact us to make sure the food is suitable for your consumption. Please, note that allergies are the responsibility of the participant and not of Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours. We are unable to take responsibility for allergic reactions to foods used in our cooking. Should you have dietary restrictions, please notify us prior to booking to ensure availability of substitute ingredients. Where possible, Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours may accommodate dietary constraints, but customers should inquire at time of booking. If substitutions can be made, customers will be notified in writing.

Participants

Culinary tours offered by Ambrosia are usually tailored to adults. Minors are welcome to attend, but they must be accompanied by an adult participant.

Images, Personal Comments, Marketing

Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours reserves the right to take photos and videos of the tours and adventures and the customers participating in them. By booking with Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours the customer agrees to have their photo taken and used in marketing and promotional material, including but not limited to: official website, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, SlideShare and other social media channels, printed material, brochures, photobooks, etc. that Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours deems appropriate for these purposes. Participating in a tour grants Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to reproduce such images, photos or video. This material is copyrighted and will be used only by Ambrosia and its affiliates for the intents outlined above. Should you not wish to have your picture or video taken during a tour, please advise Ambrosia in writing prior to the tour date or refrain from booking with Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours.

Comments and messages sent to Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours via email, through the website or through social media channels, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, SlideShare, etc. may be used in marketing and promotional material. Sending such messages grants permission to Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours to make use of this material at its discretion and for the purposes outlined above.

Limitations of Liability

Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours shall not be held liable for any health or medical condition customers may have when booking a culinary tour. It is the responsibility of each customer, and not of Ambrosia, to verify his or her medical condition prior to booking and ensure appropriate health insurance coverage, should it be necessary. Ambrosia Tours do not require intense physical activity, but some tours may be unsuitable for some customers due to age, mobility, disability, pregnancy, physical or mental conditions, and food and dietary restrictions. It is the customer responsibility to check prior to booking. If a customer is in need to seek medical treatment after a culinary tour, Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours shall not be held responsible or liable for any costs incurred as a result.

Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours is not required to provide any special facilities unless it has agreed to do so in writing.

Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours shall not be liable in any way to the customer for death, bodily injury, illness, damage, delay or other loss or detriment to person or property, or financial costs both direct and indirect incurred due to Act of God, war or war like operation, political disturbances, terrorists activities, civil commotions, fire, extreme weather or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours.

Updating of Terms and Conditions

Ambrosia Culinary & Gourmet Tours reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time. It is therefore the customer’s responsibility to become acquainted with them.
